*Service Dog Family* We just discovered Sushi Depot, and it has been an unexpected treat both times we have been. The staff are helpful and sweet, the offerings are extensive, the prices are good, the value and quality are great. Crushed ice in bags is provided for cold/fresh item purchases. This is like a Sam's or Costco but for all things sushi. You are able to shop in bulk quantities only for most items. The items we will return again for are pictured. :)

We went to Sushi Depot today to pick up some salmon and Hamachi. Their salmon is always our favorite. It tastes fresh, buttery, and honestly just like what you get at a good sushi restaurant. They did not have Hamachi this time but we got Buri instead and it was still really good. I really like that they are now cutting the salmon into smaller portions and even giving a storage box with the fillet. It makes it easier to keep things fresh and not waste any. I just wish they could do the same with more of their fish in medium sized portions because it would be super convenient. The staff is helpful and quick. They explain the different types of fish and give good suggestions when something is sold out. Compared to other places we have tried, Sushi Depot feels more approachable and the quality of the fish is very high. If you want restaurant quality fish in Houston for sushi at home, this is definitely the place to go.

The selection of fresh cuts and imported products is impressive, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful if you need suggestions. Whether you’re prepping for a sushi night or just want quality ingredients, this place is a must-stop.

Wow wow wow! Sushi Depot is a relatively new wholesale supermarket that sells blocks of tuna, big pieces of salmon sashimi, large sacks of rice, and many other items. You won’t be disappointed by the variety of products they sell. They also have beautiful sake cups and carafes, bottles of sakes, ramen bowls like the ones you see in Japanese restaurants, and even Japanese knives! The supermarket is big, and it looks like they are still trying to fill up some of the empty shelves. Their prices are reasonable, and definitely worth checking them out!

Went on grand opening day for their special deals. And I am very glad I went. Got bunch of japanese stuff like chutoro, uni, ramen soup base. Wagyu beef looks so fresh and they did an amazing free tasting. I also got a bottle truffle oil. Cant wait to use it on my fried rice. I know where I need to go for seafood with great price from now on.
